The 10th anniversary of UMW Aerospace
I had the pleasure of celebrating the 10th anniversary of UMW Aerospace, a key player in Selangor’s journey to becoming a leading aerospace hub.
With Selangor Aero Park finally taking off this year, we have already seen strong interest to develop the 600+ acres around KLIA. We began with 200 acres, with more stages to come until 2028. This progress reflects our commitment to building a future-ready, high-value aerospace ecosystem.
Selangor’s vision is clear: to position ourselves and ASEAN as major players in the global aerospace economy. Whether in semiconductors or aircraft manufacturing, I believe Southeast Asia has the talent, and together we can build what the world needs.
