Selangor Techsphere Summit 2025
Welcome to the first edition of Selangor Techsphere Summit 2025, a two-day event at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre bringing together global innovators, industry players and policymakers.
Following my visit to Germany last year, it is gratifying to see the collaboration come full circle with Hannover Messe, now taking place in Malaysia through the Selangor Techsphere Summit 2025. Selangor is proud to partner with Hannover Messe in one of its first state-level collaborations, marking a new milestone in international industrial cooperation.
This morning, I had the honour to witness two key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre (STDC) and BMW Malaysia, and between the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and Siemens Malaysia, followed by the Selangor Teraju AI Showcase by Google Cloud Malaysia, highlighting how AI can drive automation, sustainability, and competitiveness.
The Selangor Techsphere Summit is a catalyst for real industrial progress, bridging policy and execution. Its focus on empowering SMEs to embrace digital manufacturing, advancing Industry 4.0 adoption, and preparing a future-ready workforce aligns with the goals of NIMP 2030 and Selangor’s own mission for inclusive, sustainable growth.
My deepest appreciation to YAB Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah Yusof, for officiating the event and sharing an inspiring message that while technology may shape the world, it is people who will define its purpose.
