MoC and Lol Exchange with Strategic Partners, Together with the Award Ceremony of the IEM Aviation Safety Competition 2025
I am pleased to witness the exchange of the Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) between Selangor Aviation & Technology Innovation Sdn Bhd (SELATI) and its strategic partners China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Collaborative Innovation Centre (CCAIC), China Comservice Sdn Bhd, PNSB, and Impeccable Vintage Properties Sdn Bhd.
This collaboration marks another step forward in strengthening partnerships and driving Selangor’s growth in aerospace, technology, and digital innovation.
The focus is on advancing aerospace and drone technologies through the Aerospace Centre of Excellence (ACOE), with the goal of creating more job opportunities, enhancing technical skills, and nurturing local talent. These efforts support Selangor’s vision of becoming a hub for high-value and innovation-led industries.
A Letter of Intent (LoI) was also exchanged between Invest Selangor and the Czech Aerospace Cluster, marking a meaningful collaboration between Malaysia and the Czech Republic. This partnership further highlights Selangor’s growing role as a global gateway for aerospace cooperation and sustainable industry development.
Before the ceremony concluded, I was honoured to celebrate the ten students from various higher learning institutions who emerged victorious in the IEM Aviation Safety Competition 2025. Organised by the Institution of Engineers Malaysia under the theme “Engineering Safer Skies,” their success reflects the talent, creativity, and innovation of Selangor’s youth, in line with our commitment to becoming a leading centre for aerospace and advanced technology.
