Digitalisation Goes Grassroots with Rakan Digital Selangor

The post-lockdown future is a digital one. The state government has effectively utilized technology and the Internet of things in overcoming its COVID-19 struggles, and has allocated RM3 million to further that via Rakan Digital Selangor. Utilizing the concept of digital ambassadors to target the elderly and digitally lacking micro-businesses, Selangor will be collaborating with public and private universities and NGOs within the state to reach its target demographic.

A smart state is one that embraces the challenges of its time with all the resources at its disposal. As Selangor pursues to fulfill its UNDP Sustainable Development Goals, it hopes that it will achieve them without leaving anyone behind.
