9th anniversary of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS)
Alhamdulillah, today marks the 9th anniversary of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS), a platform that continues to strengthen Selangor’s position as the Gateway to ASEAN.
My deepest appreciation to His Royal Highness Tengku Amir Shah the Crown Prince of Selangor, for graciously officiating SIBS 2025.
In my address, I emphasized that SIBS 2025 reflects Selangor’s strength as a leading economic powerhouse, built upon robust infrastructure, highly skilled talent, and pro-business reforms such as the 100-Day Policy and Speed Selangor Policy.
Selangor is also advancing high-value sectors such as semiconductors through the Selangor IC Design Park, aerospace through the Selangor Aero Park, and expanding into rail and life sciences to ensure sustainable development that meets the needs of an ageing population.
Through the upcoming Selangor Agenda for Green Economy (SAGE) and the Second Selangor Plan (RS-2), we will further strengthen our commitment to green energy, sustainable mobility, and innovation, reaffirming Selangor’s role as a regional hub for investment and sustainable growth.
With continued collaboration, innovation, and resilience, I believe Selangor will remain at the forefront of progress, driving a future that is competitive, inclusive, and sustainable.
