5th World #QuranConvention 2025 at Perdana Hall, MITI
This morning, I had the honour of officiating the 5th World #QuranConvention 2025 at Perdana Hall, MITI. Taking place on 6–7 December, the Convention spotlights Surah Al-Saff and explores how Quranic guidance can inspire innovation and shape a stronger future for our ummah.
The programme commenced with The WQC Prelude: Unlimited Quran Miracle, featuring Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan, Ustadh Fazrul Ismail, Dr Imran Alvi, as well as qari from Malaysia, Palestine and Syria. It was a profound reminder that the Quran remains a living guide, illuminating our hearts, strengthening our communities, and guiding our future.
Throughout my journey, I often reflect on the wisdom of Surah Al-Balad (17), which teaches us patience and compassion. It reminds me that true leadership is about choosing the higher path, one guided by integrity, responsibility and mercy.
Selangor remains steadfast in its commitment to serve the people with sincerity and Quranic values. Surah Al-Saff calls us to stand united, and through the #Saff12Movement, these values are translated into meaningful action. May this Convention inspire all of us to uphold justice and amanah, and to bring lasting good to Selangor as part of our tijarah with Allah.
